To celebrate the release next week of new single ‘Monkey (You Can Go Home)’, Dear Reader, aka Cheri MacNeil, has unveiled a special acoustic performance of the track.

Filmed in MacNeil’s adopted hometown of Berlin, the piano-led version brings out a more dynamic and delicate side to the song.

It is taken from her new LP Idealistic Animals, which was recorded in Leipzig and Portland and received its UK release last week on City Slang,
