The frankly amazing Kim Gordon will be rocking up to London next month with Boston free-noise guitarist Bill Nace to play a one-off UK live show as Body/Head.
The Sonic Youth bassist/vocalist’s project with Nace is an improvised song duo with two guitars, and vocals inspired by early Pink Floyd and fabulous French film director Catherine Breillat.
To date, Body/Head have released a limited-edition cassette on Ecstatic Peace! and a ultra-lo-fi cover of Peggy Lee’s ‘Fever’ for an Ultra Eczema compilation, but the duo will be premiering previously-unheard songs at their London show.
Body/Head play Café Oto on February 22. Tickets are £10 advance, £12 on the door (but we wouldn’t wait around if we were you…), and are available to buy here.
