Canada’s Louise Burns has just released a video for album track ‘Drop Names Not Bombs’.

Burns released her debut album Mellow Drama last year on Vancouver’s Light Organ Records, with the LP attracting enough attention to be included on the longlist for Canada’s prestigious Polaris Music Prize. Burns played almost every single instrument on the album herself, and is very much a prolific and talented musician. She even co-founded all-girl band Lillix at the age of 11!

The track itself sounds on the surface like a happy song, but according to Burns, ‘Drop Names Not Bombs’ actually comes from a darker place, something that is reflected in what Burns refers to as the “un-video”.
