With a new album in the pipeline and ready to be released later this year, Alanis Morissette has announced a trio of UK tour dates for June.

The Canadian singer/songwriter will take in the following shows, with tickets on sale on Friday (February 10) from 9am:

June 25 – Birmingham O2 Academy
June 26 – Manchester O2 Apollo
June 27 – London Brixton O2 Academy

Morissette has previously revealed that she has written 31 songs for the follow-up to 2008′s Flavors Of Entanglement, of which she will pick 12 tracks for the record. Her eighth studio album is expected to come out in summer.
