All-female alt choir Gaggle have revealed the video for their thought-provoking new single.

‘Power Of Money’ takes a look at how we value the things we buy, the things we care about, and the hold that cold, hard cash has over us all.

If that all sounds a little ponderous, then fear not, as the tune is so infectiously catchy and life-affirming that it’s the most enjoyable piece of political thought you’ll hear for a while. But then, we don’t expect anything less from Gaggle… Watch the video to the track below:

And as for the single? Well – it’s out now through Transgressive Records for the sum of £3,000. Yep, you read that right – given all the time, work, love and energy that went into the track, Gaggle have estimated its true ‘cost’ at three grand, which sounds kind of reasonable to us.

However, we totally understand if you don’t have that kind of money to throw around – so we’ll let you into a little secret – ‘Power Of Money’ is also available on Gaggle’s ace debut album From The Mouth Of The Cave, which is a smidgen cheaper…
