Kathryn Williams releases a brand new album of songs inspired by Sylvia Plath’s The Bell Jar.
Kathryn’s music drifts seamlessly between the folk and pop worlds. She has released no less than nine solo albums to date, including 2000’s Mercury-nominated Little Black Numbers.
Produced and engineered by Ed Harcourt, her latest release, Hypoxia, is a curious record. The album is both emotional and hypnotic, capturing the essence of Plath’s prose.
The album came out on Monday and Kathryn has since shared the video to the beautiful ‘Mirrors’.
