We round up all the kickass videos that have been streaming at TGA towers this week.
Rock and rollers Holy Fever are back after a three year hiatus, with their debut album The Wreckage released last week. The video for Find Your Fame sees the band deliver a thrashing performance as a bunch of paper bag puppets, getting picked off one by one. Oo-er.
Listen to Oslo’s rising acoustic star, Tina Refsnes, sounding like a young Joni Mitchell, in Alaska. The gorgeous song is accompanied by a charming animated video. Simply beautiful.
90s-inspired pop duo Lowla have released debut single Reckless, a celebratory song to mark “the moment you leave the darkness of a break-up,” something we’ve all been through, right? One for fans of Sky Ferreira and Grimes, their sugary, DIY-pop aesthetic is channelled into their marvellous new video.
CORINNE BAILEY RAE
Corinne Bailey Rae has just released the stunning video to single Stop Where You Are. It’s a soulful ballad taken from new album, The Heart Speaks In Whispers, due out next month.
Uber talented and self-taught producer, writer and singer, FOXTROTT has shared a new vid for track Brother. It’s a deeply personal song for the Montreal beat-maker, aka Marie-Hélène: “I wrote it for my brother who, as a young adult, started suffering from mental illness. It is a song filled with love and powerlessness.”
