News | Who Run The World and LOUD WOMEN

Who Run The World announce a kick-ass collaboration with LOUD WOMEN, joining forces to curate a night of doubly-awesome women-led music, in aid of anti-austerity charities.

Calling all punk queens and riot grrrls, whatever you have planned for Friday 7 October, clear your diaries, because this event promises to be BIG.

Get set for a feminist extravaganza, full to burst with music from four brilliant bands, plus there’ll be poetry, cake, raffle, snogging, and much, much MORE.

Part of pro-community project We Shall Overcome and their week of solidarity with anti-austerity charities, the event takes place at the TChances Arts & Music Centre in Tottenham, North London.

Playing live on the night will be:

A trio of Mancunians writing songs with an infectious pop sensibility, layered with a healthy dose of fuzz and shot through with ‘grim up North’ poeticism.

Celebrating their 1 year band birthday – Dream Nails played their first gig at the We Shall Overcome gig last year, which was also the first ever LOUD WOMEN gig. So much to celebrate with our favourite punk witches!

Melodic guitar, sad lyrics, suddenly loud shouting and screaming … we love these fisty babes.

Pop Punk prom queens just trying to buy some weed.

Donations on the door will go to Women’s Aid, with a suggested minimum of £5, so while you are rocking out you’ll also be helping to raise extra dollar for a very worthy cause indeed.
