London promoting lot, Who Run The World are back and teaming up with sister organisation, Loud Women for an International Women’s Day special.
I reckon “Loud Women Who Run The World” has a pretty nice ring to it. Just look at the Women’s Marches across the globe the day after Trump was sworn in; together, our voice is loud – and we will not be ignored. Who Run The World is a live music promotions company dedicated to exclusively showcasing female artists, to help improve visibility of women in music in London.
After a bit of a hiatus, the WRTW team are back and joining forces with sister organisation Loud Women to bring The Fiddler’s Elbow in Camden the most dynamite show for International Women’s Day, all in aid of domestic violence charity Women’s Aid. And the line up is pretty explosive with parody punk empowerpop troupe The Baby Seals performing alongside pop punk prom queens, Charmpit.
Plus, catch Bristolian new kids on the block, The Menstrual Cramps who are all for left-wing ideologies and The Potentials, bringing their patented Buffy the Vampire Slayer-themed queer DIY pop to the mix. Bloody good fun all round!
Loud Women Who Run The World is this International Women’s Day, Wednesday 8th March at The Fiddler’s Elbow, Camden.
